Forever Changing.

To grow, one must change. You can't do the same things and expect different results, so we grow and change to get better outcomes.

Since I have last written, I have been through so much. I have been fighting battles within myself, and even some externally. Like the night I sliced my finger open. That was a fun night, and unfortunately, due to how late it was, the missionaries missed out.

It was a simple but deep slice. 4.5 hours in the ER and 7 stitches later I went home. It's now fully healed, but with some pain and numbness still, but I am blessed. It could have been worse.

Another battle is for a higher position at work. I have been training and working hard to get this. I am still in contact with Ryan, the missionary who is responsible for my conversion. (Well, one of them. I am still in contact with Kevin as well!) Between him and my coach for work, I have learned a lot about myself that I didn't realize. It was because of these things that it took so long for me to even be considered for a higher position, and a lot of it I didn't even realize I was doing.

In order for me to move up, I must grow up. Change can be scary. I am normally a huge fan of not change, but from my own experiences, change is not always bad. Change can lead to amazing things.

For example. change is what lead me to the LDS church, It allowed me to open my heart to the missionaries, to attend a service or two, and made me realize how much I was missing out on. It's opened my eyes to a whole new perspective on life.

"And he that liveth in righteousness shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye,.." Doctine and Covenants 43:32

Being Mormon has made me a better person, and it and the awesome people that I've met have helped me grow in my life, as well as in the word. I'll forever be grateful to Elders Wille, Carter and Kirby, as well as all the others who helped in this journey.

Missionaries are a huge part of my life, and I will forever do what I can to help them.
