Prayer & Scriptures
Hey guys! I know it has been a while, things in my personal life have been hectic, mostly staffing issues at work. I basically live there! I haven't been to church in 4 weeks. 2 of them I was working, 1 of them I was driving my mother back home from Pennsylvania, and church was cancelled last week due to Hurricane Irma.
Hope everyone has been well. We were blessed when Hurricane Irma threatened to rip us up. This would have been my third year of damage. Better not jinx myself, hurricane season is far from over.
I wanted to hop on here and let everyone know I'm doing well. Working hard, reading hard and praying harder.
Since I've been praying and reading more, I feel happier and closer to God. The blessings have been coming, and I'm seeing even more of them. I can not thank God enough. The only thing that has changed in my life is praying more and reading the scriptures, and I am telling you. The more I do these two simple things, the more blessings I see and the more I know the church is true.
I am so glad to be a part of something so amazing. I know it sounds corny, and maybe it is. But I've never felt more at home than I do when I walk into that building, surrounded by my family. I thank God for that everyday.
