Blessings.

This week I haven't had much time to write.

Tuesday, I was sent home from work early because I was in such pain. I tried to go back Wednesday, same problem, I was sent home. I didn't go home though, I went to doctor's care.

After waiting for nearly two hours, a doctor came in, got my symptoms, and ran some blood tests and a urinalysis. She was highly certain that I had appendicitis and that I needed to go to the ER right then. I couldn't make myself go right then. My insurance is so picky about what they will cover ER wise, so I decided to try to make it until my PCP was open the next day.

All night I tossed and turned. I got no sleep. My entire right side was in such pain that at 6 am Thursday morning, I gave up and went to the ER. If it was appendicitis, my appendix could burst and possibly kill me.

The ER was empty so I got in the back fairly quickly and saw a doctor. He actually listened to me, and agreed with Tabby. I had been telling Tabby my symptoms and she didn't even examine me and she was right. She thought it was PCOS related, and it is.

I have PCOS. I got a second diagnosis this year. It's where I have a bunch of cysts in my ovaries. They cause all sorts of trouble and can be a huge problem sometimes, like now.

My right ovary had swollen nearly twice it's normal size. The ER doctor urged me to see my OBGYN. He gave me some pain medication and sent me home. I immediately made an appointment with my OBGYN. She got me in Friday afternoon.

She did an ultrasound to confirm what the ER doctor said, and added that one of my cysts had hemmoraged. It's very painful, I can't even begin to describe how it feels.

I was told to take it easy all weekend. Kaylee and her sister Emmalee came to visit and helped me pick up the apartment. And by helped, the did what I asked while I sat on the couch. Emi loved doing the laundry, and they both cleaned the litter boxes. These two were so helpful.

Ryan and Jeremy were also very helpful. They brought me soup and cooked it for me. They checked in on me several times a day, making sure I was resting and not doing any work.

Guys, it's so hard to sit down and rest when I am so used to running around and always moving. House work, laundry, errands, my job... I'm always on the move so this is a difficult thing for me to do.

Yesterday, Ryan and Jeremy came over and cooked for me again. I've never had anyone come cook for me while I was sick. Or ever, really.

Ryan and jeremy, along with Kaylee, Emi and MB where such a blessing this week. Along with Jesse who messaged me every day to check on me as well. And always, my Tabby, who knew exactly what was going on even when the doctors didn't.

It's little things like this, a simple call or text, bringing me soup or stopping by to let me use kids for free labor... I'm kidding about the last part but the kids did want to help! These are all blessings that others take for granted. I am so glad I have such amazing friends and my even more amazing husband who has put up with my crying and fussing all week. It's not his fault I'm in such pain, but he's dealt with it.

I love all you guys. I'm blessed to have such amazing friends.
